Basketball Recap: Columbia Comes Up Short

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 57-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lee Generals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-32 back in December of 2024.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Lee, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-16.

Columbia will challenge New Hope at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee, they will square off against Midfield at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Midfield will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lee surely won't give up without a fight.
