Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Maurice Chaney and Sakhi Mcintosh Lead Linden to Victory + How To Watch

Linden won the last time they faced Holy Spirit Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots strolled past the Saints with points to spare, taking the game 30-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Sakhi Mcintosh and Maurice Chaney. Mcintosh rushed for 76 yards and a pair of scores while Chaney rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Mcintosh has posted since back in September of 2024. Another big playmaker for Linden was Kareem Rembert, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Linden's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Linden will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against University Charter at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Trail Blazers have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests. Holy Spirit Catholic has already played their next matchup (against Choctaw County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
