Volleyball Recap: Hall Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Trumbull

Hall faced Trumbull in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Titans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

While Hall ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 25-17.

Elias Drummond paced Hall's offense, picking up ten kills. Drummond got some help from Isaac Drummond and his 19 assists.

Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Trumbull, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Glastonbury on the 17th. As for Trumbull, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against New Canaan on the 17th.
