Softball Game Preview: Timpview Thunderbirds vs. Springville Red Devils

For the second straight game, Timpview will face off against Springville. The Thunderbirds will be playing at home against the Red Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Timpview is looking for their season's first victory.

Timpview came up short against Springville on Monday, falling 18-3.

For Springville's part, the team relied heavily on Allyx Haveron, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Haveron, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

Allyx wasn't the only one making solid contact: Springville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The Red Devils are a perfect 8-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win made it two in a row for Springville and bumps their season record up to 10-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Timpview, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
