Centerville waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Teague Lions 10-3. Considering the Tigers have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Jake Gray was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Brooke, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Centerville pushed their record up to 19-2-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Teague, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Coming up, Centerville will face off against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Teague does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
