Soccer Game Preview: International Studies vs. Sports Leadership & Management

The International Studies Eagles will face off against the Sports Leadership & Management Wolves at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. International Studies' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

International Studies fell victim to Hollywood Hills and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 7-0.

Despite a strong season so far, Sports Leadership & Management has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-0 to Mater Lakes Academy on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Bears are ranked 36th).

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for International Studies, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

International Studies might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Sports Leadership & Management in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can International Studies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
