Volleyball Recap: D.C. Everest Evergreens vs. Hudson Raiders

D.C. Everest extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 1-3. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hudson Raiders. The Evergreens were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Ella Eckhoff paced D.C. Everest's offense, picking up eight kills. Eckhoff were helped by Athena Thor and Tatum Arndt, who contributed eight assists each. Thor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

As for Hudson, the win got them back to even at 2-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since October 12, 2024.

Leading Hudson to victory were Della Dreher and Kaitlyn Drost. Dreher had eight digs and two aces, while Drost had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Drost has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, D.C. Everest will be taking part in a tournament against Seymour at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hudson, they will take on Altoona in a tournament on Friday.
