            Basketball Recap: Syracuse Titans vs. Fremont Silverwolves        
        
		
        
        
            Syracuse hadn't done well against Fremont recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Syracuse Titans took down the Fremont Silverwolves 65-51. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the   62-54 victory the Silverwolves walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Syracuse to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Colton Hoenigman, who  made all 6  shots he took to post 16  points. The dominant performance gave  Hoenigman a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was  Bradlee Trejo, who  went 6 for 10  en route to 13  points and eight  boards.
 Syracuse was working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fremont only racked up ten  assists.
 Fremont lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Cam Campbell, who  posted ten points and eight  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Easton Duft, who  went 5 of 12  on his way to 14  points.
Syracuse now  has a winning record of 9-8. As for Fremont, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the  loss, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Syracuse will square off against Farmington at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Syracuse's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season. As for Fremont, they will face off against Layton at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Layton will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Fremont surely won't give up without a fight.
