Basketball Recap: Carver Montgomery Comes Up Short

Carver Montgomery lost against Central back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Carver Montgomery Wolverines had to suffer through a 50-23 loss at the hands of the Central Red Devils. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Red Devils are ranked 33rd).

It was another big night for Jabria Lindsey, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards for Central. Lindsey is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last 28 games she's played dating back to last season. Kandria Mebuge was another key player, putting up seven points.

Carver Montgomery now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.

Carver Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-35 victory against Opelika on the 28th.
