Basketball Recap: Richardton-Taylor Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Richardton-Taylor hadn't done well against Washburn recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Richardton-Taylor Raiders came out on top against the Washburn Cardinals by a score of 49-39. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 50-42 loss the last time these two teams met.

Richardton-Taylor's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Washburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Richardton-Taylor will head out to face off against Standing Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richardton-Taylor is facing Standing Rock at the right time seeing as Standing Rock is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Washburn, they will host Ellendale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
