Volleyball Recap: Quakertown Panthers vs. Central Bucks South Titans
If Quakertown was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Antietam last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Quakertown took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Bucks South Titans on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Quakertown started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.
Owen Reinford paced Quakertown's offense, picking up ten kills. Reinford got some help from Sean Gillin and his 24 assists. Finally, Jack Harris kept Quakertown's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
