After a string of five wins, Benjamin Russell's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 4-2 to the Calera Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Calera this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in February.

Benjamin Russell's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Calera, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.
