Cincinnati Christian benefitted from Johnson in 49-40 win
While Wednesday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Savannah Johnson. Cincinnati College Prep Academy had no answer to Johnson on Wednesday as she dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds in the win.
Johnson and Cincinnati Christian will head out on the road to challenge St. Bernard-Elmwood Place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will pit Johnson up against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place's star guard Nylah Hassan. Will Johnson turn in another gem to overcome Cincinnati Christian? We'll have our answer very soon.
