Noble entered their tilt with Scarborough on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They breezed past the Red Storm to the tune of 38-0. That looming 38-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.
Noble got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mark Lapointe Lll out in front who rushed for 89 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also threw for 126 yards and one touchdown while completing 88.9% of his passes. Jackson Mulligan got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Joseph Descart, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Noble didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Mulligan picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Noble's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Scarborough, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
