Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodbury). They slipped by the Eastside Tigers 80-79 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thundering Herd as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Eastside lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Romelo Mangum, who went 9 of 20 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. Those 22 points gave Mangum a new career-high. Tyrone Washam was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 assists.

Woodbury's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Eastside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Woodbury has already played their next game (against Collingswood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-42 victory against Rancocas Valley on the 4th.
