The home team had won the previous four meetings between East Limestone and Austin, and East Limestone kept the tradition alive. The Indians won by a run and slipped past the Black Bears 11-10. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Black Bears back in March, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

Leyton Coffman was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Matthew Drake, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

East Limestone's record now sits at 20-12. As for Austin, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-24.

East Limestone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Austin, they will square off against Florence at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
