Basketball Recap: Harmony Science Academy Comes Up Short

Harmony Science Academy lost against Bowie on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Harmony Science Academy took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowie Bears.

Despite the loss, Harmony Science Academy still got an impressive performance from Miranda Urquidi-Sauceda, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The match was Urquidi-Sauceda's third in a row with at least ten points.

Harmony Science Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Bowie, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy the next time they take the court. Harmony Science Academy will host Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Bowie will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
