Baseball Recap: Narbonne Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Narbonne, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Peninsula Panthers 5-4. The Gauchos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers on Saturday, too.

Narbonne saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Dillon, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Ami Rodriguez was another, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Narbonne pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Peninsula, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Narbonne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Banning on the 30th. As for Peninsula, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against El Segundo on the 30th.
