Softball Game Preview: Ingraham Rams vs. Cleveland Eagles

The Ingraham Rams will face off against the Cleveland Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ingraham knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cleveland likes a good challenge.

Ingraham had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 14-run drubbing they dealt Franklin on Thursday. The Rams were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the Quakers. Considering the Rams have won six contests by more than 13 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cleveland scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Chief Sealth, falling 32-18. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (13), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Cleveland's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Ingraham, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.

Ingraham took their victory against Cleveland in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 26-10 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
