Hamilton Heights Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 89-61 win over Wilson Academy. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 72-61 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Bj Bradford shot 55% from the field en route to 28 points and three steals and Jarron Talley went 7-for-13 to rack up 16 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Valliance Luketa, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points.

Wilson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 82-74 victory against Boyd-Buchanan on the 20th. As for Wilson Academy, they will face off against Balboa at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
