Peyton is 9-1 against Ellicott since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Peyton will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Ellicott  at 2:00  p.m. The timing is sure in Peyton's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Ellicott has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
Peyton saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   7-2  victory over Centauri. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
 Zayden Ebbert made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Ebbert was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Bryce Love, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Ellicott came up short against  Las Animas on Saturday, falling  16-7.
 Peyton's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ellicott, they now  have a losing record of 1-2-1.
