The Kimball Jaguars are taking a road trip to face off against the Lodi Flames at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kimball is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
Kimball's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against West as they made off with a 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won eight in a row.

Not much got past Briana Quintero, who gave up just two hits to keep West off the board. Quintero has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Viviana Aguilar and Saige Dodds did most of the damage at the plate: Aguilar went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run, while Dodds went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Iolana Faasisila, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Kimball kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 10-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Lodi earned a 5-0 win over West on Thursday.
Not much got past Harlow Padilla, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep West off the board.
On the hitting side, Taylor Blank was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Ellie Schallberger also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Kimball's record now sits at 14-6. As for Lodi, their record is now 10-6-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Kimball has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Lodi struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Kimball got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Lodi by a conclusive 10-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
