Volleyball Recap: Pacelli Takes a Loss

Pacelli was the 2-0 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Jaedyn Zdroik paced Pacelli's offense, picking up eight kills. Zdroik were helped by Sami Sankey and Peyton Zdroik, who contributed nine assists each.

Valley Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bella Birr out in front who had 11 assists and four digs. That's the most digs Birr has posted over her last seven matches.

Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Valley Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

Pacelli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Peshtigo on the 27th. As for Valley Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Two Rivers on the 27th.
