Coronado lost against Frenship back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

Coronado's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Frenship, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Coronado will head out on the road to face off against Lubbock-Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frenship, they will be playing at home against Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on September 5.
