Basketball Recap: Klein Cain Takes a Loss

Klein Cain was the 65-57 winner over Klein Forest when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Klein Cain Hurricanes took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Klein Forest Eagles on Tuesday. The Hurricanes just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Klein Cain's record now sits at 2-14. As for Klein Forest, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12.

Klein Cain and Klein Forest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Klein Cain (ranked 805th) will meet Klein Collins (ranked 95th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Klein Forest will square off against St. Pius X at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 404 places (703 vs. 299).
