Recap: Lynnfield Pioneers vs. North Attleborough Rocketeers
It was a good run, but The Lynnfield Pioneers unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They fell just short of North Attleborough by a score of 14-11.
When it comes to explaining why Lynnfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler Adamo. Despite the final result, he threw for 215 yards and a touchdown.
Leading North Attleborough to victory were Chase Frisoli - QB c/o '25 and Ryan Bannon. Frisoli - QB c/o '25 rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown, while Bannon rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown. Bannon is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last four games he's played.
Lynnfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-1. As for North Attleborough, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynnfield will square off against Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hamilton-Wenham Regional comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for North Attleborough, they will head out on the road to face off against King Philip Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King Philip Regional presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Attleborough in Massachusetts (King Philip Regional is ranked first, while North Attleborough is ranked 31st).
