Patrick Henry had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 28-run drubbing they dealt Kalida on Saturday. The Patriots blew past the Wildcats 29-1. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Faith Meyer was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.

In other batting news, Kasey Nelson was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Elisiana Wyandt, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
