The Riverside Prep Silver Knights will venture away from home to  take on the Redlands East Valley Wildcats  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Riverside Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3  runs per game  this season.
Riverside Prep will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Tustin  on Thursday. Riverside Prep put the hurt on Tustin with a sharp  16-4 victory. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by nine  runs or more this season.
 Logan Sarkesian looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in six consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Adrian Jorge Jr., who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Andrew Logsdon was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Riverside Prep  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .537. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tustin only posted  an  OBP of  .308.
Meanwhile, Redlands East Valley came tearing into  Thursday's  game with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Terriers by a score of  3-0. The Wildcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a  run in their last three  matches.
 Joseph Prosper looked comfortable as he  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, Redlands East Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Connor Towns, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another  was  Alan Gibbons, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Redlands East Valley now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Riverside Prep, their record now sits at 8-4.
Redlands East Valley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Riverside Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .320.
