Los Altos lost to Leigh back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Longhorns. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Los Altos took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15.

Aviya Russo paced Los Altos' offense, picking up nine kills. Russo got some help from Angela Deng and her 16 assists. Russo also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ana Heath, each putting up two.

Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Leigh, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Los Altos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Evergreen Valley on the 11th. As for Leigh, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 11th.
