The St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Springfield 51-8 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as St. Thomas Aquinas also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
St. Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Springfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Northlake Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Northlake Christian is ranked 155th, while St. Thomas Aquinas is ranked 169th). As for Springfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Many at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Many's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight games.
