Softball Recap: Patapsco Comes Up Short

Patapsco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Hereford Bulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Patapsco's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hereford, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Patapsco and Hereford will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Dundalk at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Hereford, their break will end when they face Western Tech & Environmental Science at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
