Destrehan won the last time they faced Archbishop Chapelle and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Destrehan Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Archbishop Chapelle Chipmunks. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on five straight.

Destrehan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those seven contests. As for Archbishop Chapelle, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Destrehan and Vandebilt Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Destrehan's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Archbishop Chapelle, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Monroe at 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
