Soccer Recap: Ponaganset Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ponaganset lost against Westerly back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chieftains fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Ponaganset have lost by just one goal.

Marron Nearney wasn't going to let Westerly walk away unscathed as she scored both of Ponaganset's goals, bringing her season total up to 15 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Ponaganset and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1. As for Westerly, they pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
