Camp Point Central extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Jasper Flesner. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 27-6 margin over the Brown County Hornets on Friday for which the team can thank Flesner, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass.

Camp Point Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.

Camp Point Central and Brown County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 75th) will meet Routt Catholic/Lutheran (ranked 348th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brown County will take on Beardstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (181 vs. 388).
