The Anderson County Bulldogs will face off against the Olpe Eagles on Monday. Anderson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Anderson County is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Osawatomie just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans.

Anderson County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aleck Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Olpe got the win against Crest on Thursday by a conclusive 12-4. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Olpe and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Anderson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
