Recap: Havelock Rams vs. Cape Fear Colts
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Havelock Rams had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Cape Fear by a score of 27-15. Havelock's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
It was another big night for Lebron Sharpe, who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for six yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sharpe hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games. Khimani Nolan made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Havelock's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Cape Fear, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Havelock's homestand continues as they prepare to take on J.H. Rose at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Cape Fear does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
