Coahoma County had won five straight games and Caleb Hearns did his part to make it six on Friday. The Coahoma County Red Panthers took down the Holly Springs Hawks 66-47 thanks in part to Hearns, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last 17 games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Zech Smith, who posted four points in addition to ten assists and eight rebounds. Those ten assists gave him a new career-high.

Coahoma County has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Holly Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Coahoma County is taking a road trip to square off against North Panola at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holly Springs has already played their next matchup (against Independence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
