Volleyball Recap: Adams Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Adams unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walled Lake Northern Knights on Wednesday. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While Adams ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Allie Epley, who had 12 digs.

Adams didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Marian on the 23rd. As for Walled Lake Northern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bloomfield Hills on the 23rd.
