After losing to Cedar Catholic the last time they met, Pierce decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pierce Bluejays walked away with a 49-42 victory over the Cedar Catholic Trojans on Saturday.

Cedar Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Walter, who went 5-for-12 on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Anisten Wortmann, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Pierce is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Cedar Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Pierce has already played their next game, a 53-35 win against Clarkson/Leigh on the 11th. As for Cedar Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-41 defeat against Elkhorn Valley on the 11th.
