Volleyball Recap: North Paulding Wolfpack vs. Northgate Vikings

North Paulding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northgate Vikings. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Vikings when the teams met back in September of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Paulding actually scored more points across those three sets (62-60), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-21, 18-16.

Northgate was led to victory by Ashlen Hart and Karien Miranda. Hart had nine digs and six assists, while Miranda had seven digs. Those six assists gave Hart a new career-high.

North Paulding's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Northgate, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9.
