Basketball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner entered their game against Elk Point-Jefferson on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wagner Red Raiders came up short against the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies, falling 60-39. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wagner's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Wagner will square off against Parkston at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Parkston will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Wagner surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they will take on Ponca at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
