Johns Creek came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Riverwood Raiders by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Gladiators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sara Buoni paced Johns Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Buoni got some help from Adonia Haile and her 21 assists.

Johns Creek's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Riverwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.
