Softball Recap: Conway Springs Takes a Loss

If Conway Springs was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Douglass on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Conway Springs fell 7-3 to the Kingman/Norwich Eagles on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Reece Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Conway Springs now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Kingman/Norwich, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Conway Springs and Kingman/Norwich will both be playing Douglass the next time they take the field. Kingman/Norwich will head out to face Douglass at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Conway Springs will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
