Baseball Recap: Lakeville Takes a Loss

Lakeville was the 6-5 winner over Ovid-Elsie when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 6-3 to the Marauders on Monday.

Bryceon Oliver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Hunter Engberg was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Lakeville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Ovid-Elsie, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeville will square off against Unionville-Sebewaing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ovid-Elsie, they will take on Chesaning at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
