Volleyball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richland Center Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Richland Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.

Belmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against River Ridge on the 7th. As for Richland Center, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Platteville on the 7th.
