If Nemaha Central was riding high fresh off their 61-39 takedown of Rossville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nemaha Central Thunder fell to the Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves 56-50. The Thunder's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Blue Valley Southwest's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lily Unruh, who posted 17 points and four steals. Unruh's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Ready, who scored 12 points.

Nemaha Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Blue Valley Southwest, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
