Soccer Game Preview: Yorkville vs. Plainfield East

The Yorkville Foxes will head out to square off against the Plainfield East Bengals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Yorkville is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Minooka on Tuesday. The Foxes fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Yorkville have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Plainfield East lost 4-1 to Oswego East on Tuesday.

The Bengals' goal came courtesy of Leah Rudd, who's now up to three this season.

Plainfield East's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Yorkville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1.
