McKinley took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Burgard Bulldogs. The win continues a trend for the Macks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Hunter Holden Twoguns looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Angel Rodriguez was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBI. Nick Golden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.

Coming up, McKinley is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on South Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Burgard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against City Honors at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
