It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mount Dora Christian Academy can now relate to. They fell 18-13 to the Orangewood Christian Rams on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Weston Barrett was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Calton, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mount Dora Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Orangewood Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 20-10.

While Mount Dora Christian Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
