Baseball Recap: Moon Area Comes Up Short

Moon Area suffered their closest defeat since April 9, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Governor Mifflin Mustangs by a score of 4-2.

Moon Area saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thad Longwell, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Moon Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Moon Area Tigers challenge South Fayette Lions at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th. The last three games Moon Area has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Governor Mifflin, they will challenge Dallastown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Governor Mifflin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games dating back to last season.
